tis the day to be halloweeny - also my zine has been on sale for about four weeks now.
Predictably, I have yet to shift a single copy.
In the past month another few important things have happened; I manged to get new job and I turned 29.
Most of the summer I was jobless but it did allow me to indulge in artistic endeavors and enjoy what fleeting summer Scotland is granted. Also, it made me realise that an art degree isn't the best thing to have when searching for employment.
Having finally convinced someone that I am a half decent worker, I've found one of the (artistic) benefits so far has been a fresh pair of eyes. I went through a collection of my photographs recently and saw it differently. Approached it as someone whom didn't actually create the work, which was refreshing to say the least. Of course, I'm also bemoaning the loss of free time and energy. The light at this time of year is really something.
Anyway, heres an interesting Vice piece about photozines.
Why not click on the 'Shop' button at the top of this page and treat yourself or someone you know to a Photozine of Budapest.
